Our premium Japanese Stainless Steel Tubes can be categorized into several systems: Cr system (400 series), Cr-Ni system (300 series), Cr-Mn-Ni system (200 series), and the precipitation-hardening system (600 series). The 200 series features chrome-nickel-manganese austenitic stainless steel, while the 300 series boasts chrome-nickel austenitic stainless steel.
301 Stainless Steel301 - This grade offers excellent extension, making it ideal for molding products. It can be effectively hardened through mechanical processing, exhibits good weldability, and surpasses 304 stainless steel in wear resistance and fatigue strength.
302 Stainless Steel302 - It shares the same corrosion resistance as 304 stainless steel due to its higher carbon content, which results in superior strength.
303 Stainless Steel303 - Enhanced with a small amount of sulfur and phosphorus, making it easier to cut than 304 stainless steel.
304 Stainless Steel304 - Known as 18/8 stainless steel, with a GB grade of 0Cr18Ni9. Offers better temperature resistance than 304.
316 Stainless Steel316 - The second most widely used grade after 304. Primarily utilized in the food, pharmaceutical, and surgical equipment industries. The addition of molybdenum provides a special structure that is highly resistant to corrosion.
321 Stainless Steel321 - Similar to 304 stainless steel but includes titanium, which reduces the risk of material weld corrosion.
400 Stainless Steel400 series - Includes ferritic and martensitic stainless steel.
408 Stainless Steel408 - Features good heat resistance and weak corrosion resistance with 11% Cr and 8% Ni content.
409 Stainless Steel409 - This is the most affordable model, typically used for car exhaust pipes and is a type of ferritic stainless steel (chrome steel).
410 Stainless Steel410 - A martensitic (high-strength chrome steel) known for its excellent wear resistance and moderate corrosion resistance.
416 Stainless Steel416 - Enhanced with sulfur to improve the material's processing properties.
420 Stainless Steel420 - A “cutting grade” martensitic steel that resembles the earliest stainless steel of Brinell high chromium steel. Ideal for surgical knives, it can achieve a very bright finish.
430 Stainless Steel430 - A ferritic stainless steel commonly used for decorative purposes like automotive accessories. It offers good formability but has limited temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.
440 Stainless Steel440 - A high-strength cutting tool steel with slightly higher carbon content. When properly heat-treated, it achieves high yield strength and hardness of up to 58HRC, making it one of the hardest stainless steels. Commonly used for razor blades, it comes in four models: 440A, 440B, 440C, and 440F (easy processing type).
500 Stainless Steel500 series - Heat-resistant chrome alloy steel.
600 Stainless Steel600 series - These are martensitic precipitation-hardened stainless steel tubes.
